A Prayer in Time of Special Need

Mary, Loving Mother of Consolation, I turn to thee now in this time of need.
I come to thee confused and fearful, anxious as a little child.
I know thou really are my heavenly Mother.
Thou see me with eyes filled with love and understanding.
Touch me through thy prayers and hold me in thy love, that I might continue strong and unafraid in these days of difficulty and hurt.
Gentle Mother, I now confide to thee my greatest need (pause, reflect and pray ).
Please pray that the loving will of Our Father may always come first in my heart and in my mind.
Help me to reflect on the needs in thy own life, Mary, the days when thou, too, knew concern, fear, loneliness and grief.
Thou always turned to Our Father and gave thyself to Him completely.
Thou knew His love and showed us how to live in it.
When I remember the love of thy Blessed Son for me, I am less afraid.
When I think of thee I can smile. Pray for me, Holy Mary , forever Immaculate Mother of God and Help of the Christians.
Guide me always in Thy love, and lead me to thy Son, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ . Amen.

WEAR THE GARMENT OF GRACE ~~ BROWN SCAPULAR ~~

O Mary, Queen and Mother of Carmel, I come today to consecrate myself to thee, for my whole life is but a small return for the many graces and blessings that have come from God to me through thy immaculate hands.

Since thou look with special kindness on those who wear thy Scapular, I implore thee to strengthen my weakness with thy power, to enlighten the darkness of my mind with thy wisdom, and to increase in me Faith, Hope and Charity that I may repay each day my debt of humble homage to thee.

May thy Holy Scapular bring me thy special protection in my daily struggle to be faithful to thy Divine Son and to thee. May it separate me from all that is sinful in life and remind me constantly of my duty to imitate thy virtues.

From now on, I shall strive to live in God's Presence, and offer all to Jesus through thee. Dearest Holy Mother, support me by thy never-failing love and lead me to paradise through the merits of Christ and thy own intercession. Amen.
