Novena in the Honor of the Assumption of the Holy Mother of God

Please say a "Hail Mary" after each of the salutations to Our Lady. Direct, we beseech Thee, O Lord, our actions by Thy grace and assistance, that our every prayer and work may begin from Thee and end with Thee.
1. Blessed be that moment, O Mary, when the angels took thee up into Heaven. Hail Mary
2. Blessed be that moment, O Mary, when thy Son called thee to Heaven. Hail Mary
3. Blessed be that moment, O Mary, when the whole heavenly court met thee in Heaven. Hail Mary
4. Blessed be that moment, O Mary, when thou were received with such great honor into Heaven. Hail Mary
5. Blessed be that moment, O Mary, when thou were placed at the right hand of thy Son in Heaven. Hail Mary
6. Blessed be that moment, O Mary, when thou were crowned with such great honor in Heaven. Hail Mary
7. Blessed be that moment, O Mary, when thou were proclaimed the Daughter, Mother, and Spouse of God in Heaven. Hail Mary
8. Blessed be that moment, O Mary, when thou were proclaimed Queen of the whole Heavenly court. Hail Mary
9. Blessed be that moment, O Mary, when all the Angels and Saints rendered homage to thee in Heaven. Hail Mary
10. Blessed be that moment, O Mary, when thou were chosen to be our Protectress in Heaven. Hail Mary
11. Blessed be that moment, O Mary, when thou began to intercede for us in Heaven. Hail Mary
12. Blessed be that moment, O Mary, when thou will mercifully receive us into Heaven. Hail Mary Amen

WEAR THE GARMENT OF GRACE ~~ BROWN SCAPULAR ~~

O Mary, Queen and Mother of Carmel, I come today to consecrate myself to thee, for my whole life is but a small return for the many graces and blessings that have come from God to me through thy immaculate hands.

Since thou look with special kindness on those who wear thy Scapular, I implore thee to strengthen my weakness with thy power, to enlighten the darkness of my mind with thy wisdom, and to increase in me Faith, Hope and Charity that I may repay each day my debt of humble homage to thee.

May thy Holy Scapular bring me thy special protection in my daily struggle to be faithful to thy Divine Son and to thee. May it separate me from all that is sinful in life and remind me constantly of my duty to imitate thy virtues.

From now on, I shall strive to live in God's Presence, and offer all to Jesus through thee. Dearest Holy Mother, support me by thy never-failing love and lead me to paradise through the merits of Christ and thy own intercession. Amen.
